Demanovska Cave of LIberty is the natural monument on the northern side of the Low Tatras. This is the longest Slovakian cave system. It has a beautiful decoration of allusions as well as a well-combined agglomeration of different colors and mysterious lakes. This cave is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Europe. Allergic and respiratory diseases are treated here.

Traditional route

The examination of the cave takes 60 minutes and the whole length of the path is 1150 meters. The temperature inside varies from 6.1 to 7 degrees. The humidity is high and reaches 94-99%.

Large route

The cave examination takes around 100 minutes and the whole length of the path is 2150 meters. The temperature varies from 6.1 to 7 degrees.

Demanovska Cave of LIberty

The season starts on January 2 and ends on Novemeber15. You can also visit the cave from December 27 to December 31.

Working hours: Tuesday-Sunday from 9.00 to 17.00, Monday is a day off.

Entrance hours: 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 (traditional route)
Cost: 8,00 EUR for adults, 4,00 EUR for children between 6 and 15, 7,00 EUR for Retirees and students

Entrance hours for Large route: 13:15
Cost: 15,00 EUR for adults, 7,50 EUR for children between 6 and 15 years old, 13,00 EUR for students and retirees.
