Museum of Commerce

What cash registers of the beginning of the XX century were looking like? What marketing hints used marketers at the beginning of the Slovakian republic? The items of the Museum of Commerce will tell you about many aspects of the Slovakian commercial branch. The museum was established in 1985.

The collection includes 61 000 interesting artifacts. This building is situated nine kilometers from the center of Bratislava. You can find various types of containers made of glass, paper, and tin, balances, dumbbells as well as complete shop interiors.

There is also a small brewery and a collection of old bottles for beer, soda, and lemonade. Those bottles were used one hundred years ago.

In order to attract more visitors, the administration of the museum organizes music performances regularly. You can listen to locan and foreign blues, rock, and folk music groups.
