Silicka ladnica cave is hidden in the forests to the South-West of Silica village. This is the lowest ice cave in the world. The entrance is at 503 meters above the sea. The length of the cave is more than 1000 meters and the depth is more than 100 meters. People lived here before glaciation. There are various archeologic discoveries here. The age of glaciation is around 2000 years. In 1982 the cave was named a national natural monument and in 1995 it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
