Vazecka Cave

This is one of the most famous caves in the Northen Slovakia. While it is one of the shortest caves, it is known for its rich decoration, cave bear bones discoveries and rare fauna.

A continuation of the cave was found in 1922. It was created by the under terrain waters of Bely Vah river. You can admire colored Stalactites here, stalagmites and lakes. Cave bear bones extinct 15 000 years ago, which are from 40 000 to 51 000 years old are presented here.

General information

The cave examination takes 25 minutes and the length is 235 meters. The temperature inside varies from 6.5 to 7.1 degrees Celsius. The height difference is 5 meters.

Working hours: Tuesday-Sunday from 9.00 to 17.00. Monday is a day off.

Entrance  schedule: 9.00, 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16.00

Cost: 5.00 EUR for adults, 2.50 EUR for children from 6 to 15, 4.00 EUR for students and retirees. They do not accept banking cards.
